Who we are: Pittsburgh Classic Players is a professional theatre company dedicated to producing engaging, entertaining, and enlightening works of educational and literary importance. While focusing on classical texts, we strive to produce any work that touches the human condition and speaks to the audience. Clear storytelling, brisk pace, and audience engagement are paramount to our mode of theatrical production. Bringing world-class quality entertainment to Pittsburgh from a company built here, based here, and from here are core to our purpose.

Who we arenā€™t: We do not produce plays for the purpose of creating conflict. We will not shy away from provocative texts and titles, but we do not exist strictly to shock or confuse under the guise of art. We will never compromise quality for the sake of profit, and we will never forget that theatre should be entertaining, both for performers and especially for the audience.

What we do: Through year-round theatrical performance, educational outreach, and community workshops, we strive to touch the lives of those around us, and to make a community home that people can share. We invite audience feedback, volunteer contribution, and individual suggestion on how we can better serve the Pittsburgh theatrical community, and the greater metropolis as a whole. Our intention is to be here for you and for the generations to come.
